Super Bowl 2020

Get ready! Why? Because a 100th season of Super Bowl is right around the corner!

What: Super Bowl LIV

When: Feb 2, 2020

Where: Miami Gardens, Florida

Kickoff: 6:30 p.m. ET

This year’s Super Bowl will be very special for many reasons. Besides being historic, a great halftime show is promised!

This year, the championship game will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium, home to both the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes.

This will be the 11th time South Florida has hosted a Super Bowl, which ties it with New Orleans for the most ever.

For those who are not able to go see this spectacle in person, Super Bowl LIV will be available on Fox TV and streamed through Fox Sports app.

We might not be able to predict the outcome of the Super Bowl 54, but we know that Miami knows how to party.

Even though the kickoff does not start until Sunday, the first performance will occur on Saturday, Feb 1.

Lady Gaga, who sang the national anthem at Super Bowl 50 and did the Halftime Show a year later, is going to be at the AT&T TV Super Saturday night concert in Miami.

There is more! Super Bowl 54 has a fire duo coming to deliver a real-deal Latino performance. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are joining forces for the halftime show.

You know the event is “big-time”, when even the fashion magazine Cosmopolitan is talking about it. How could they not, when J.Lo and Shakira are not the only superstars to perform.

Demi Lovato is coming to impress us once again with her outstanding vocals. She will be singing the national anthem and what is more exciting, this will be her first live performance since she stepped back in 2018.

Interesting fact about the Super Bowl: no team has played in its own city before. It will not happen in 2020 either, because the Dolphins did not succeed at making the playoffs.

Their stadium, however, just went through a major renovation. The seating capacity was reduced from 75,000 to 65,000, but new video boards, seating pods, and suites were added.

Miami-Dade County mayor Carlos Gimenez said in the interview for Sporting News that he could not think of a better place to host the Super Bowl.

“This is the place to live, work and play, and hosting the Super Bowl at Dolphins’ stadium once again serves as further evidence that Miami is a major event community,” said Gimenez.

To get you prepared for other upcoming events, the next bigger NFL event is the 2020 NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

After the 2019 season concludes with Super Bowl 54, the 2020 NFL League year will begin on March 18.

There are different reasons why people like Super Bowl. Watching their favorite star player, enjoying the halftime performances, or even commercials, but most importantly, it is FUN.

Even if you are not a big fan of football itself, you can make this a social event right at your home. Bring some friends over and do not forget the beer and snacks!
